This Refund Policy applies to KhataWise subscriptions purchased through our website.

1. Free Trial

KhataWise offers a free plan and/or free trial period for paid plans. We encourage you to fully explore the software before purchasing a subscription.

2. Subscription Refunds

2.1 Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

2.2 Annual Subscriptions

For annual subscriptions:

  • Within 7 days: Full refund if you haven't extensively used the service
  • After 7 days: Pro-rated refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • After 30 days: No refunds for annual subscriptions

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be granted if:

  • Technical issues prevent you from using the service (that we cannot resolve)
  • You were charged incorrectly
  • The service significantly differs from what was advertised

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Setup or onboarding fees (if any)
  • Add-on services already rendered
  • Subscriptions cancelled after 30 days
  • Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email billing@khatawise.com with your account details
  2. Include your reason for requesting a refund
  3. Provide your registered email and company name

We will respond within 3-5 business days.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be:

  • Processed within 7-10 business days
  • Credited to the original payment method
  • Exclusive of any bank charges or currency conversion fees

7. Downgrades

If you downgrade your plan, the new pricing takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No partial refunds are provided for mid-cycle downgrades.
